Who we are
Rigaroo ("we", "us") runs this website, rigaroo.uk, and is building a breakdown-assist app that connects HGV drivers with local service providers. We are responsible for the personal information you give us here. You can contact us at support@rigaroo.uk.
What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- your name and email address
- whether you are a driver/fleet or a service provider
- your postcode and number of vehicles or vans, if you choose to give them
If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
How we use it
- to tell you when Rigaroo launches and invite you to sign up
- to understand where drivers and providers are, so we can plan where to launch first
- to reply to your questions
We use your details because you asked to join the waitlist (your consent). We will not sell your information or use it to send you unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Our website and waitlist form are hosted by Netlify, and our email is provided by our email provider. They store information on our behalf and may process it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until the app launches and for up to 12 months after, unless you sign up for the app or ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Every launch email will include a way to unsubscribe. Just email support@rigaroo.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes
We will update this policy when the Rigaroo app launches, to cover how the app uses your information. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
